The cobra lily is - beside the albany pitcher plant - one of the most extraordinary carnivorous plants . Darlingtonia is moderately hardy. In summer, however, more attention should be paid to cool roots, as the plants naturally grow along streams. In the bog bed, more humid or more shaded areas are suitable for outdoor cultivation. Alternatively, it can be kept in large clay pots.
