Pinguicula agnata is a very easy-to-care-for Mexican butterwort species with white flowers. This cultivar from the location Zimapan, Hidalgo in Mexico represents the type species of P. agnata and is also considered particularly easy to care for. During the winter months, a winter rosette is formed for survival, but the plants can still be easily cultivated on a windowsill. Due to its natural distribution, Pinguicula agnata is also relatively tolerant of calcareous water, allowing for irrigation with harder tap water. A temperature drop during the winter months is recommended.
