The Spanish butterwort species Pinguicula vallisneriifolia is ideal for the calcareous bog bed. In the winter months the plant retreats into a bud-like structure (the hibernaculum). In spring, the first carnivorous leaves with a wider leaf shape are formed, followed by the typical long leaves in the summer months. Due to the formation of these three leaf shapes, botanists call it anisophyllous species. The cultivar "white flower" is also characterized by its pure white flower. You will receive two unpotted, fully sprouting buds.
