Utricularia bismaquata - the water bladderwort catches its prey through underground trapping organs, spreads very quickly under suitable cultivation conditions, and can form large carpets. The cultivation is straightforward. The plants should be placed in bright to partially shaded areas and always have a few centimeters of water accumulation in the saucer. After flowering, the withered flower stalks should be cut off as close to the ground as possible. No further care measures are necessary.
