The Spanish butterwort species Pinguicula vallisneriifolia is excellent for calcareous bog gardens. In the winter months, the plant retreats into a bud-like structure (the hibernaculum). In spring, the first carnivorous leaves with a broader leaf shape form, followed in summer by the typical long leaves. Due to the formation of these three leaf shapes, they are also referred to as anisophyllous species. The cultivar "white flower" is additionally characterized by its pure white bloom.
You will receive two unpotted, fully developed buds.
