Attention: Shipping of pitcher plants only takes place unpotted! Because it is a natural product, the product size may differs (instead of one large plants, two medium plants are send for example). Because we furthermore mainly propagate our plants on a vegetative way (via cuttings), some plants in the early spring months may are shipped with tiny or no roots at all! For this plants we offer a growth guarantee for two months (except plants which were grown incorrectly)!
Sarracenia flava comes from Central America and is therefore characterized by a relatively strong winter hardiness. Compared to most other pitcher plant species, the plants sprout very early. This variation shows a particularly intense red color under strong light.
Delivery will take place bare root. If you do not choose shipping as a tracked parcel, the plants will be cut back!
